MX 1 - JOSH COPPINS really enjoys racing in these sandy conditions, as he says it seperates the men from the boys. Josh did not have such a good start, and with a few mistakes could not make up the valuable ground he needed, so he had to settle for 4th place in the first race. In the 2nd race, he was in the top 10 for the start, with his fitness showing, he slowly picked the guys off one by one, and finished a close 2nd behind Ken De Dycker. Josh said he wishes the race was slightly longer so he could have had a good fight with De Dycker. Josh earned his podium finish this GP.

MX 2 - RUI GONCALVES was hoping for a run away victory here in Lierop as he is very good when the going gets tough. He has good speed and strength. Unfortunately his shoulder popped out during training the week before, and is supposed to undergo an operation, but opted to hold out until the end of the season. In Race 1 he did manage a victory with much pain. Going into Race 2, with the conditions being so rough, he did battle a bit with the pain and decided not to push too hard knowing that there was still one more GP to get through, so he settled for 3rd Place.
